Brake screw repair insert ( repairs bleed screws up to 10mm / 3/8 diameter )
Bleed screw repair instructions
- Drill out broken bleed screw.
- Drill bleeder orifice 25/64″ diameter 3/4″ deep to prepare for tapping
- Tap hole 7/16-20 UNF Minimum 5/8 deep
- Apply brake fluid- compatible sealant to the repair insert
- Screw insert into tapped hole ( Caution: over tightening could ruin the between bleeder screw & insert)
- Check for good liquid seal
